    The year Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering has been organized by IIT Kharagpur. Like every year this year also there were lakhs of applicant appeared in the GATE 2014 examination. GATE examination conducted between 2nd February ro 1st March 2014. Candidates who all appeared in the examination are eagerly waiting for their Result. As per official update GATE Result going to declared on 28th March 2014. So all candidates who appeared in the examination be ready with your Admit Card to check your Result.

    Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering conduct for those candidates who want’s to do post graduate courses like M.Tech across the country. By getting good score in this exam you can take admission in top colleges of India, so if you really want to do M.Tech course from top colleges do work hard.     How to check GATE 2014 Result

    All candidates who appeared in GATE 2014 examination can check their Result on 28th March 2014, for Result you just need to follow below simple and easy steps.

    1. First log on to official site BELOW!
    2. Click on GATE 2014 Result link
    3. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth
    4. Click on submit button and take print of it

    About Exam

    GATE 2014 exam conducted in total 22 papers where candidates had to choose on the time of online apply. Candidates will have to choose in the paper of his/her discipline in Degree. How ever candidates can choose any paper according to his/her admission plan i.e. in which branch or course he/she wish to have admission.

    Candidates will get questions of General Aptitude in related to Language and Analytical Skills, Engineering Mathematics and Core Subjects. All the papers will carry 100 marks of 65 questions where 10 questions on General Aptitude which will carry 15 marks. Candidates who will appearing in the papers with code AE, AG, BT, CE, CH, CS, EC, ME, IN, EE, TF, PI, MT, MN and XE (Engineering Sciences) will get Engineering Mathematics questions of 13% of total marks and General Aptitude questions of 15% marks of total marks and remaining questions will be based on Core subject that they had chose. Candidates who are going to appear in papers of codes AR, CY, EY, PH, MA, GG and XE (Life sciences) will get the questions based on General aptitude of 15% of total marks and questions will be based on chosen subject.
